Patrick Hickey retired not long ago and I hope that means he has more time to pursue his love of photography, especially in the context of his active involvement in the photographic club community in the Midlands. This shot from last year is representative of Patrick's real forté - portraiture, both in the studio - as here - and out and about. The lighting is very well arranged with Natalia's key facial features glowing in context with her shoulders and the extremity of her hair. Patrick has managed to really show of Natalia/s excellent makeup and complexion. I hope Natalia has seen the final result as I'm sure she would be absolutely delighted with it.
