Mike Parr posted this shot on the DPNow gallery way back in 2007. Our stats log shows this is one of the most viewed images in the gallery with almost 15,000 views. Mike has captured the pending storm in the Scottish wilderness well. Being a resident of the south west of England, Mike was a long way from home when he took this.

We are always on the look out for great pictures posted to the user-galleries here on DPNow. POTDs are selected from the gallery and featured every week day. The gallery facility here is completely free; all you need to do is register as a user on our discussion forum and you will automatically receive storage space good for around a couple of hundred pictures uploaded at web resolution.
