Adobe Photoshop CS6 public beta hands-on preview

Adobe has launched the public beta of Photoshop CS6, the 13th version of Photoshop. Anyone can download and try the beta for a limited period before the finished version eventually ships. PS CS6 incorporates many minor and major enhancements, including Adobe Camera RAW 7, additional Content Aware functions, added non-destructive editing tools, video editing and if that wasn't enough there is a revised UI and default dark grey look. We've been trying out PS CS6 - find out how we got on.

Panasonic determined to make cameras and TV better partners

While smartphones can be regarded as so-so cameras with exceptional added functionality and connectivity, conventional cameras may claim the image quality advantage but why are they still so poorly provided with connectivity options. The new Pentax K-01 - we try to make sense of it

Yesterday's launch of the Pentax K-01 mirror-less system camera was quite a surreal experience. Its unusual colourful and boxy design, the lack of a viewfinder and a big question mark over who Pentax is actually targeting with the K-01 required some time to reflect and digest. 24 hours on, this is what we think about the K-01.
