Rollei draws a positive balance after the Photokina
Hamburg, 4 October 2010 This year’s Photokina was a complete success for Rollei: Rollei was able to present many new product highlights to a broad audience at this leading international trade fair for the photo and imaging sector. Rollei also invited visitors to take a small journey through time at its trade fair stand in view of its 90th anniversary. The exhibition, which included a number of rare Rollei products, was rounded off with a presentation of Marilyn Monroe photographs taken by the renowned glamour photographer, Bruno Bernard. Bruno Bernard not only discovered the blond Hollywood diva during the 40’s with his Rolleiflex, but many other film and show legends.
Rollei also presented its latest technology trends, of course. The new compact models took center stage, among which the premiere of the Compactline 360 TS and Compactline 370 TS attracted an especially large amount of attention.
The Photokina, which is the highlight for every photography enthusiast, also plays an important role for Rollei, and Thomas Güttler, Managing Director of RCP-Technik GmbH, was very pleased with the positive feedback received from the visitors: “both specialist dealers and end users were extremely impressed with our extraordinary trade fair stand and showed a great deal of interest in our new products. The digital picture frames and the new Designline and Pictureline product ranges were thus also well received, as they cover various areas of application thanks to a wide range of products and numerous handy features. Our product range was rounded off with our slide/film and photo scanners, which make the digitalisation of photo memories particularly easy.” Thanks to the huge success of the trade fair, Thomas Güttler is very optimistic with regard to the upcoming year.
