Trade show preview: Rollei presents digital picture frames from its new ‘Pictureline’ product family

Rollei is presenting a new product family in the digital picture frame category with its ‘Pictureline’ range at the IFA and Photokina 2010 trade shows. The Pictureline range has been designed for everyone who attaches importance to versatile slide show functions and simple user controls. Sporting a chic black and white design, they make an original digital wall decoration or stylish accessory for the desk.
With a screen measuring 38.1 cm (15 inch), Rollei’s Pictureline 3150 is the largest digital picture frame in the new product range. The TFT-LC display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels is ideally suited for wall mounting and can, thanks to the swivelling stand, be also be positioned vertically or horizontally. For photo slide shows, the smart digiframe in a stylish black finish, offers various customisation options, such as adjustable speed and picture transition effects, for example.
The frame with a 4:3 aspect ratio also shows videos, and features a built-in clock as well as a calendar function. Music files (MP3 and WMA) can be played back via the stereo loudspeakers. Furthermore, the digiframe will impress viewers with its Auto Slideshow function, triggered on inserting the memory card (compatible with SD/SDHC/MS/MMC/CF or XD cards). The Pictureline 3150 frame will be available in shops as of early October 2010 for a RRP of € 149.95.
The Rollei Picturline 3104 impresses with its large 10.4-inch TFT-LC display and resolution of 640x480 pixels. Like the Pictureline 3150, it offers various slide show modes for photos, as well as a video and music function. Furthermore, it features a built-in clock with an alarm function and calendar display. The digiframe also sports a particularly impressive design, it is painted in a shiny black acrylic varnish. Ease of use is ensured by the swivelling stand and the remote control, which is supplied with the frame. The recommended retail price for the frame, which will be available as of mid-October 2010, is € 79.95.
The Pictureline 3070 and Pictureline 3071 digital frames round off the new product range from Rollei. These 7-inch TFT-LCD frames with a resolution of 480x234 pixels show slide shows in 16:9 format. These frames also have the practical swivelling stand, built-in clock, calendar function, Auto Slideshow functionality and USB 2.0 port in common with the other Picturline models. The slim design picture frames (depth: 23 mm) Picturline 3070 and Pictureline 3071 will be available from early-October 2010 for a RRP of € 39.95 in the colours Black and White.
