Hades underworld theme tests hopefuls
Entry details for this month's competition
The theme for the March instalment of our year-long Olympus-sponsored Greek Gods photographic competition was Hades, the god of the underworld. This was a very challenging theme, but there were plenty of hopefuls who submitted interesting photographs.
As usual, one image stood out and this time it was a ghoulish macro shot of a spider apparently lunching on another spider, perfectly matching the rather miserable theme that was set.
Soon, Aneurin will be choosing up to £500 worth of Olympus equipment from his local
PIX dealer. Apart from that, his entry goes through to the grand finale this summer when the twelve monthly winners will be judged again in order to select an overall champion, with the winner netting a £2,000 luxury Greek holiday.

There is still a little time to enter
this month's leg of our competition. Don't miss it!
Aneurin Westwood, whose grisly spider picture won the March instalment of our Greek Gods competition, explains: A spider entwines another against its will such like Hades taking Persephone; how Winter, the dying of nature begins.
It was Aneurin Westwood, from Cardiff, who submitted the winning entry. The local Olympus PIX dealer there is Camera Centre Cardiff, 13-15 Morgan Arcade, Cardiff.
