It may not look very different, but the redesigned LowePro SlingShot AW incorporates many detail changes
When Lowepro introduced the SlingShot AW camera bag concept five years ago it quickly captured the imagination of many photographers, with its hybrid over-the-shoulder/backpack design that enabled you to access the contents of the bag without having to physically remove it as you would have to with a traditional backpack, but not have to endure a sore shoulderif you have a heavy load of cameras and lenses like a traditional shoulder bag.
The fact that it has taken five years for Lowepro to update the SlingShot AW range is a testament to the excellence of the original design, but nothing is perfect and LowePro has responded to customer feedback by adding new features and refining others.
