Latest in a long line of Ultra Zoom bridge cameras from Olympus, the SP-800UZ sports an incredible 30X zoom lens ranging from a creditable equivalent 28mm wide angle through to an amazing 840mm super telephoto. The SP-800 also has a large 3 inch LCD screen, and a mechanical image stabilisation system.

Novel features include a user guide that you can read on the screen, and you can turn the camera into a digital photo frame thanks to its 2GB of built in memory.

Other attractions include shadow enhancement technology, up to 10 frames per second continuous shooting (resolution dependent), and720P HD video recording using MPEG4, and with clips running to a maximum of 29 minutes.
