DPNow's most exciting competition prize yet – an Olympus E-330 digital SLR with optical and live electronic TTL viewing!
This competition is now closed.
The lucky winner is Chris Millward, Preston, UK
The ground-breaking Olympus E-330 DSLR was launched earlier this year and ushered in a new generation of interchangeable lens DSLRs that not only provide an optical through the lens (TTL) viewfinder, but on-screen Live View too. You can have the chance of owning an Olympus E-330 by subscribing to the DPNow Extra! Newsletter. If you are already a subscriber, there is a special entry form for you too.
An exclusive feature of the E-330 is its tilting live view screen, enabling convenient composition where you need to shoot with camera very low or over the top of an obstacle in front. It's also ideal for candid photography when used as a waist-level finder. Live view also offers critical focus control for macro and other types of photography.
To enable its Live View capability, the E-330 uses a new generation of Live MOS sensor, featuring 7.5 megapixels. The camera also uses a special optical TTL 'porro' viewfinder system using a system of mirrors instead of a pentaprism, which eliminates the traditional DSLR 'lump' on the top-plate.
Here at DPNow we have thoroughly tested the E-330 and it’s an extremely good all-round performer. The supplied 14-45mm (28-90mm equivalent) f/3.5-5.6 kit lens is one of the better of its genre, even featuring an increasingly rare metal lens bayonet.
We're delighted to be able to be in a position to enable DPNow reader to own this fine camera. Will it be you?
