Last chance to enter PDSA’s pet photo competition!
DPNow.com says: As with all photo competitions, DPNow urges all potential competitors to read the terms and conditions before entering their work in case a claim is made on the use or copyright of your pictures. Also, beware of any subsequent offers that ask you to pay for items that result from competitions before parting with any cash.
Calling all pet owners who are dotty about their dogs and crazy about their cats – it’s your last chance to enter your beloved pet into PDSA’s annual Pets Gallery Competition and win a digital camera.
Entry forms can be picked up from your local PDSA charity shop, or you can enter online at www.pdsa.org.uk/petsgallery. The closing date is Friday 31 July 2009.
This year the leading veterinary charity is inviting owners to submit photographs in two categories, most photogenic pets, and pets that look like celebrities.
PDSA spokesperson, Lisa Nickless says: “Is your pooch always posing for the camera? Does your moggie have star quality or perhaps your hamster looks like a famous actor or pop star? Then why not take a photograph and enter it into PDSA’s Pets Gallery Competition to be in with a chance of winning a digital camera, as well as a framed photograph of your posing pet!”
The competition is free to enter, but supporters are invited to make a £1 donation to help PDSA care for sick and injured pets across the UK.
Lisa continues: “By giving a donation, you will also be helping PDSA to carry out its vital work of providing free veterinary treatment to the pets of people in need across the UK.”
Photographs submitted will be displayed in contestants’ local PDSA shop for the duration of the competition. The selected winning photograph will also feature on PDSA’s website.
PDSA regrets that it cannot return photographs. By submitting photographs entrants are agreeing to the terms and conditions* of the competition. All pets should be completely natural, so no clothes or accessories please.
