Get Wild about Photography with Magna’s Magnificent Competition

DPNow says: As with all photo competitions, DPNow urges all potential competitors to read the terms and conditions before entering their work in case a claim is made on the use or copyright of your pictures. Also, beware of any subsequent offers that ask you to pay for items that result from competitions before parting with any cash.

Budding photographers still have time to enter the fantastic photography competition being run by Magna Science Adventure Centre and the Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham.

Do you have any images you could enter? Maybe taken on holiday or at a local country park? why not get them uploaded? This is an exciting competition with some fantastic prizes up for grabs and it is open until 16th October 2009.

Participants can upload their photographs onto the Magna website at www.visitmagna.co.uk/wildlife Finalists will be shortlisted by a panel of judges and then will go onto the Magna website for voting by the general public. The winner of the competition will be announced on 4th January 2010 and the winner’s image will be published on commemorative postcards to celebrate the 25th birthday of the Wildlife Trust.

Participants can enter the following categories:
1. Nature Reserves – adult and child (under 16s)
2. Urban and Garden Wildlife – adult and child (under 16s)
3. Nature close up – adult and child (under 16s)
4. People and Wildlife – adult and child (under 16s)

So don’t forget to get your images uploaded for your chance to win some fantastic prizes.
