TrevWhite is our featured photographer on the DPNow Picture of the Day this Monday. Also known on the forum under his old account name of ddigit, Trevor is one of DPNow's landscape specialists. Hailing from New Zealand, Trevor is experience early autumns just as we, in the northern hemisphere, are entering summer. Trevor's shot, which also won the latest DPNow forum salon contest, has that autumnal feel about it. The landscape looks like it is ready for the winter months and the dramatic sky is far from summer-like. The flow of the landscape, the isolation of the two, rather forlorn, trees, and the drama of the sky all add up to a superb shot that exhausts superlatives.

We are always on the look out for great pictures posted to the user-galleries here on DPNow. POTDs are selected from the gallery and featured every week day. The gallery facility here is completely free; all you need to do is register as a user on our discussion forum and you will get an automatic 25MB of space, which is good for around 125 pictures uploaded at web resolution, about 200K per picture. At the time of writing we had just nearly 12,500 pictures on the galleries and it's well worth a browse.

At the end of each month we will select our favourite image of the month and declare a Picture of the Month.
