Zio Corporation, a new name for the Dazzle brand of digital media readers

Zio Corporation has announced that it has taken over the sale, development and marketing of Dazzle digital media readers in the UK. This follows the sale by SCM Microsystems of its digital media division, which traded under the Dazzle name, to the division's former management team.

The company will distribute Dazzle digital media products through established sales channels in the UK including PC World, Dixons and Jessops. Mike Maurice, former SCM Microsystems' Managing Director of Retail Brands, will head up the new team in the UK.

A number of new products are planned to be launched in the UK in the next few months including the Hi Speed Zio family, plus the Hi-Speed 10 in 1 universal card reader (includes xD) which will retail at £39.99 .
