The new DV5300SE model stands out due to its especially innovative and stylish design. Equipped with MPEG4 technology for high video recording quality, the Mustek DV5300SE is a digital video camera and digital still camera in one. It has a 3 Mega pixel CCD sensor and a maximum resolution of up to 5 Mega pixel. With the 1.5 inch TFT-LCD swing display, moving scenes can be filmed easily, panoramas captured, extracts recorded and pictures taken – all without annoying blinking though a tiny viewfinder. Automatic exposure and a range of other functions help photographers and film-makers create the perfect alignment. The white balance can be set to daylight, cloudy, fluorescent and tungsten or automatically adjusted. Images can also be given interesting digital effects such as sepia, black and white, colour negative or filter. The composition possibilities allow enough room for creativity so the amateur can achieve impressive images and an optimal picture as a result.
This lightweight multifunctional product, weighing just 220g, can do much more than film and take pictures: as well as an integrated MP3 player, the Mustek DV5300SE can also be used as a voice recorder, USB stick and SD/MMC card reader. The 32MB internal memory can be extended via SD/MMC card slot. The camera has a USB2.0 port, integrated flash, AV output and a headphone jack. Power comes from three 1.5 volt AAA batteries or the power adapter.
The camera’s handy size of 9x4x7 cm and lightweight 136g grammes, means it can be tucked away easily for every occasion. The camera comes with a matching pouch, a hand strap as well as the USB and AV cable. It is available in the shops for around £79 (RRP).
