Release Issued by StorVision:
New Firmware release to sort compatibility problem with Sony PSP latest firmware version 2.7
Records directly from your TV or any audio/video source to a memory card, and view your movies on our Sony PSP gaming console.
StorVision has announced the release today of a new firmware for the StorVision miniVCR TV Recorder to sort compatibility issues with the latest firmware upgrade of the Sony PSP version 2.7, which cannot play videos recorded from the unit with the previous firmware.
The new firmware of the miniVCR SV-1000 also allows to playback on 3G mobile phones which use the following frame rate and resolution: 176x144@15fps; 320x240@15fps.
It is possible to use the miniVCR with PDA handheld devices via the new 320x240@15fps resolution.
The miniVCR enables you to record directly from your television onto a memory card, which you can then simply place in your Sony PSP gaming console and watch the recorded programme of your choice. This means that you can record onto Memory Stick™ Pro Duo Gaming edition and Compactflash/Microdrive memory cards (other type of flash cards via an optional adapter).
The firmware upgrade can be downloaded from the Support section of www.stor-vision.com and included upgrading instructions.
The RRP for the miniVCR is just £99.90 incl VAT.
