Mustek Optic- Computer & Communication International GmbH, one of the world-wide leading consumer electronics and IT manufacturers, opens 2007 announcing its new digital photo frame series. The first product to be launched in this new series is the cutting-edge PF-D800 digital LCD picture frames. The frame allows users to display their digital photos and offers picture playback in several different modes. The multifunctional device can also play audio and video files.
Mustek PF-D800 is a compact and stylish digital picture frame with a 20cm/8-inch (diagonal) LCD display and various picture playback modes. The slideshow option allows users to display photographs one by one or randomly using different transition effects and at speeds chosen by the user. The device is equipped with a built-in multi-format memory card reader for maximum compatibility with all major memory cards. After the memory card is inserted in the slot, the images are automatically displayed with their sizes adjusted to fit the screen.
The picture frame has a flexible stand and mounting slots allow it to be fixed on the wall or placed on a desk. Its high-quality flat TFT LCD screen offers perfect 800x480 pixels resolution. Two built-in speakers allow for a musical background to be chosen to accompany the picture show. The PF-D800 can also be used as an MP3 player and is ideal for the office. It has an earphone jack so the music won't distract colleagues. Another advantage of this multimedia frame is its video playback in motion JPEG format. Next to the DC input and memory card slot, the PF-D800 features a video output for TV connection allowing it to be used as a video player for playing video files on a larger TV screen at home.
Versatile and compact, the Mustek PF-D800 is very easy to use. A user-friendly on-board menu gives full control of the slide show and playback functions. Basic functions are easy to reach using either the ergonomic function keys on top of each picture frame or the IR remote control which is part of the basic package. Power supply is provided by the power adapter which is also included.
