Back in June, Hewlett-Packard launched its psc750 all in one printer and scanner that doubles as a copier and even a fax machine with the right ancillaries.
Now HP has introduced the psc 950 and this version is clearly aimed at photographers as it sports a built in memory card reader slots.
Not only does it have expected SmartMedia and Compact Flash support, but there is a Sony memory stick slot in there too. A non-Sony product fitted with a Sony memory stick is quite a rarity, so the psc 750 could be regarded as a significant exception.
The psc 750 comes standard with fax modem built in and there are a number of photo-specific features, including a DIY PhotoLab feature that enables photo and contact sheet printing without the need for a PC to be attached.
The psc 950 is priced £299 inc.VAT and will be available from the beginning of October.
