Greytop (Huw Prosser) has captured in today's featured DPNow Picture of the Day a shot that I think any self-respecting photographer would secretly be very pleased to have achieved. We have a good few bird lovers here on DPNow and grey squirrels are regarded as a nuisance on bird feeders, but despite that it's hard not to admire their tenacity, skill and antics when simply trying to 'share' some of the birdies' food! Huw's example here is nicely framed, with a square composition working well. He used a 200mm focal length on his Olympus E-5, which is equivalent to a 400mm lens in full frame format. Despite a fairly dim day that required ISO 1600 and achieving only 1/250th at f/7, the exposure is very good and the detail sharpness is not wanting.
