Panasonic Shows AG-3DA1 Full-HD, Integrated 3D Camcorder Solution at Wildscreen Festival 2010: A Step Closer to Natural Human Vision
Panasonic integrated 3D camcorder solution announced earlier in 2010 comes to Wildscreen Festival as a highly anticipated 3D solution for nature movie makers that require unsurpassed mobility and simultaneous file based recording to twin SD memory.
Panasonic AV Systems Europe (AVSE) will be demonstrating the capabilities of the Full-HD 3D professional broadcast camcorder at Wildscreen Festival 2010 from the 11th -14th of October. The AG-3DA1 takes 3D capabilities deep into the field, with astonishing 3D images possible via a fully integrated solution.
Historically, 3D systems were large-scale setups in which two cameras are fitted to a rig in parallel, or vertically intersect across a half-mirror requiring separate recorders this is not always ideal for getting up close and personal to natural world phenomena. Enter Panasonic Full AG-3DA1, a Full-HD 3D camcorder with integrated lenses, camera head, and a dual SD card recorder. Added to this the stereoscopic adjustment control, lightweight body high system flexibility and the camera is truly ready for field use. The solid-state memory, file-based recording system offers greater flexibility to produce Full-HD 3D videos in more challenging shooting environments.
Right and left Full-HD video streams are recorded as files onto SDHC / SD cards, ensuring higher reliability than on tape, optical disc, HDD or other mechanical-based recording systems. This solid-state, no-moving-parts design will significantly reduce maintenance costs and the 3D camcorder is better able to perform in extreme environments and be more resistant to the varying temperature extremes, shock, and vibration of wildlife photography. Users will enjoy a fast, highly-productive file-based workflow with instant access to recorded content, easy plug-ins for both Mac and PC-based platforms and a long recording capacity.
In addition to the mobile, integrated camcorder body, AVSE has also announced supporting products including BT-3DL2550 – 25.5-inch 3D LCD production monitor with full 1920 x 1200 resolution. The BT-3DL2550 provides 3D display with true-to-life colour in a durable, production-tough LCD panel package. This mobile monitor allows 3D content viewing in real time for uncompromised capture of the natural wonders that no-one can afford to miss.
