Mike Parr's other half is a keen rider and this is one of this year's foals from her stables, and is clearly high-spirited! Situations like this can come up from time to time, but there may be little or no warning, so you need to be prepared and Mike certainly was this time. This image and others like it have been discussed on the DPNow forum.

We are always on the look out for great pictures posted to the user-galleries here on DPNow. POTDs are selected from the gallery and featured every week day. The gallery facility here is completely free; all you need to do is register as a user on our discussion forum and you will get an automatic 25MB of space, which is good for around 125 pictures uploaded at web resolution, about 200K per picture. At the time of writing we had almost 16,000 pictures on the galleries and it's well worth a browse.
