How DPNow Pictures of the Day are selected
Check out Picture of the Month - Voting and Results Page for all the POTMs
Thank you for all who voted. This month the voting was quite spread out, however, one image slower edged forward as the votes were counted. The picture with the most points was Image Thirteen: - Glenveagh National Park, by Richard Crowe.
Richard Crowe is a versatile photographer but he has made his mark in the DPNow gallery with his tone-mapped or HDR (high dynamic range) photography. This is a great example of a tone-mapped landscape, with vivid saturation of the sky and land details and bold definition of the cloudscape.
The winner is Image Thirteen:
Glenveagh National Park, by Richard Crowe.
There was a tie for second place. The two images were
Image Four:
Kurt's Reed reflections.
and
Image Eleven:
Sunlit crocus by wizuk.
Well done to Richard, Kurt and Wizuk.
Voting for April's POTM will open shortly.
