This particular competition does make such a claim. Also, beware of any subsequent offers that ask you to pay for items that result from competitions before parting with any cash.
running
sports, the portfolio of skills and support resources for sports volunteers that is created and funded by Sport England, is running a photography competition on their website (
www.runningsports.org) from now until July.
However, unlike the usual sports action shots, runningsports are looking for photographs that capture the action that goes on behind the scenes to make sport happen.
From laying out cones, to keeping the books, from organising the fixtures to slicing the oranges, runningsports wants to capture the hidden heroes of grass roots sport: the volunteers.
If you’ve got what it takes to capture the passion and enthusiasm that goes into making sport happen, runningsports wants to hear from you.
As well as the chance to have your photography featured in runningsports’ next advertising campaigns, you could win £250 worth of photography equipment. Ten runners up will each receive a £15 Jessops vouchers.
Closing date is Sunday 8th July 2007. For further information and to enter log onto
