Boeblingen, Germany, August 18 2003 - today unveils the HP Photosmart 435, the new small, stylish and easy-to-use camera from the HP Digital Camera Photosmart range. With an impressive 3 MP, the HP Photosmart 435 provides users with an attractive and competitively priced camera, offering high quality photos and ease of use with every snap. A 3.8 cm (1.5”) LCD and sleek design also combine to provide an ideal camera for families and digital photography beginners.

The HP Photosmart 435 offers superior image quality and excellent value with 3.2 MP, creating clear and crisp images with every shot. Equipped with 16 MB of internal memory and an SD/MMC card slot, this stylish and compact camera offers an excellent memory capacity. With only a 0.4 second shutter lag, the HP Photosmart 435 also provides a great shot-to-shot performance, allowing for instant and multiple photo-taking without any missed photo opportunities.
The unlimited digital video and audio function (14 MB/minute) allow any moment to be fully captured, making this point-and-shoot camera the perfect complement to any busy lifestyle. The 3.8 cm (1.5”) LCD screen also makes it even easier to preview, review and share images. With a streamlined and metallic industrial design, the HP Photosmart 435 provides an eye-catching and stylish way to capture those special memories.

The HP Photosmart 435 comes complete with HP Instant Share technology, which allows users to share photos simply and quickly from their camera by easily sending images either to printers or email destinations. Users are able to download up to 34 email addresses on the camera and send easy thumbnail versions of their shots, making it even easier to see, snap and send those unforgettable pictures. With HP Instant Share users also have the ability to customise the look and feel of their images before sending them to friends and family.

With HP Direct Print, users can simply connect the HP Photosmart 435 via USB cable to select HP Photosmart printers, select HP Deskjet printers or select HP all-in-one printers to print photographs instantly – no PC is required. In addition, HP’s Photo and Imaging software, which includes HP Memories Disc Creator, also allows the user to create personalised CD-ROMs to play on DVD players or on a PC, ensuring that your digital photographs are even easier to share with friends and family.

The HP Photosmart 435 is compatible with the optional HP Photosmart 8886 docking station, adding the convenience of versatile sharing options and wireless remote control. The docking station allows for the sharing of photos via PC, printer or TV all at the touch of a button, as well as convenient in-camera recharging of batteries. For added ease of use, the HP Photosmart 8886 docking station also comes with a wireless remote control enabling armchair viewing and easy and enjoyable management of your photos.
The HP Photosmart 435 is available from 18th August 2003 at a recommended street price of €179(1).
