Boeblingen, Germany, August 18, 2003 - today unveils the new HP Photosmart 635, the compact and flexible new HP camera perfect for everyday use. With a powerful 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, audio and video streaming, optical viewfinder, 2 MP resolution and small, streamlined design, the HP

Photosmart 635 offers quality photographs at every snap.
With an impressive 3x optical zoom, the HP Photosmart 635 gives any user the opportunity to focus in on their target easily and precisely. A 2 MP resolution also allows for sharp and vibrant photos up to 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6”) size to be printed and displayed, giving the camera buyer the chance to build up a collection of photos to be proud of.

An unlimited audio and video function (14 MB/minute) allows the user to fully capture the moment without any concerns over capacity. Recording video and audio clips to an internal memory and allowing instant playback, this versatile recording capability uses sound and movement to truly bring memories to life.

The HP Photosmart 635’s manual controls also ensure precision photography, allowing users to achieve the photo they want, with ease. As one of the smallest optical zoom cameras within the HP Photosmart range, the HP Photosmart 635 is lightweight and convenient, meaning that no more photo opportunities need ever be missed.

The HP Photosmart 635 boasts a 4.1 cm colour LCD screen, making it even easier to preview, review and share your photos. HP Instant Share technology also allows users to send images either to printers or email destinations. With the ability to download up to 34 email addresses on the camera and send convenient thumbnail versions of photos, it has never been easier to share those memorable shots with family and friends. Prints can also be customised to the look and feel you desire before sharing them. With HP Direct Print, users can also connect their HP Photosmart 635 via USB cable to select HP Photosmart printers, select HP Deskjet printers or select all-in-one printers to print photographs instantly – no PC required.

In addition, the HP Photosmart 635 comes equipped with HP Photo and Imaging software for complete capture-to-share simplicity and easy management of your photos. HP Memories Disc, which is included within the software, provides users with the opportunity to create personalised CD-ROMs to play on DVD players or on a PC, preserving those precious memories for many years to come.

The HP Photosmart 635 is compatible with the optional HP Photosmart 8886 docking station, which enables one-touch photo sharing via PC, printer or TV and convenient in-camera recharging of batteries. For complete ease of use, the HP Photosmart 8886 docking station also offers a wireless remote control, allowing quick and easy management of your photos.
