PermaJet launches new Fibre Base Paper

Release Issued by PermaJet:

A World’s 1st Yet Again From PermaJet!

Following on from the highly successful launch of Textured Art Silk, a semi-gloss, acid-free fine art paper, PermaJet has now developed a Microporous, gloss-coated, acid-free fibre base paper!

Coming in at a typically heavy weight of 295gsm, PermaJet Fibre Base Gloss is uncannily reminiscent of the traditional fibre-based material used in darkroom printing, and has a slightly undulating, gloss surface.

It has a D-Max virtually identical to that of Agfa Record Rapid (2.2D-max), creating an excellent greyscale, so making this paper the perfect digital alternative to the darkroom fibre-based print.

The surface is instant-dry and has a scuff-resistant surface which is ideal for use with pigment inks. It has a very large colour gamut and shows the skin tone accuracy to be the best recorded in a test of over 200 art and photo papers (Mike MacNamee of ColourAudit.com). Overall, an extremely versatile paper for both colour and monochrome digital printing!
