February 2006 - London, UK Chaudigital, one of London's top digital imaging specialists, has launched a revolutionary new inkjet paper aimed at professional photographers, digital creatives, and imaging enthusiasts. Called da Vinci Fibre Gloss, this paper is nothing less than a quantum leap in inkjet paper manufacturing.

The Holy Grail of Digital Photography - Inkjet Fibre Gloss
Brainchild of renowned darkroom professional Danny Chau, and developed over a period of 2 years, da Vinci Fibre Gloss is designed to give inkjet prints the look and feel of a traditional black and white silver-halide fibre paper. This breakthrough acid-free fibre surface has three coatings to protect and hold ink better, giving more density to tones and producing greater detail in heavy density areas, resulting in high visual sharpness. With a DMAX of 2.7, da Vinci Fibre Gloss outstrips the typical 2.3 DMAX of a traditional fibre gloss paper.

The specially formulated fibre coating of da Vinci Fibre Gloss makes the most of pigment ink ranges from the major manufacturers. Working especially well with the Epson UltraChrome K3, range, with its three grades of black, it creates truly spectacular prints that go beyond the boundaries of wet lab output. The qualities of da Vinci Fibre Gloss extend further than just black and white, also giving colour images superb depth, subtlety and vibrancy, with a shadow tonality unachievable on previous inkjet papers.
