PermaJet exhibits at Focus

This is the fourth time PermaJet have exhibited at the ever growing Focus exhibition.

New for this years show include:
An Epson 2100 Permaflow continuous inking system. This is supplied with FS Chrome Pigment ink set which has a unique universal black ink enabling the user to print on Semi-gloss and Matt/Art papers with out the need to change inks. Ink costs come down to approximately 75% of the cost you are paying with the original OEM cartridges and because this ink is pigment, you still retain the Image life you need. Typical A3 print with 85% ink coverage is 35p. The cartridge is provided Pre-primed and full of ink, there is none of the vacuum pump systems that some systems require, being full of ink you also get an extra 120ml of ink. ICC profiles are provided Free on the web site, PermaJet also offer a full Closed Loop Profile service for custom profiling for monitors, scanners, cameras and printers.

Also new is a range of British made fine art papers launched under the name ImageLife ™. This consists of three papers all boasting the same coating which the company says delivers an extended colour gamut and a Dmax to die for! The Delta – Matt Fibre has a smooth surface and a feel to rival a traditional ‘double-weight’ fibre based photo paper. Alpha and Omega are 310 gsm. 100% cotton rag smooth surfaces one with a bright white base and the other a warmer natural tone. Both products are buffered with Calcium Carbonate to reduce degradation from ozone pollutants and maintain a pH of 6.5-7.2 (Acid Free). There are ICC profiles available on the Web Site for use with Epson Inks and PermaJet’s new FS Chrome.

VT Blax was on show providing a haven for the Black and White specialist who is looking for more neutral tones to their Monochrome work than a Colour printer will currently deliver.
