The X's Drive has come to symbolise stylish functionality and value for money in the external storage device market for digital camera users. The latest X's Drive 2xl continues that tradition.

This month we are giving away a 20GB X's Drive 2xl, worth UK£119 (approximately US$180, or EU€173) kindly donated by Card Media. Available in silver and black finish, the unit we are giving away is the cool black version.

What is an X's Drive anyway?
If you aren't familiar with X's drives, the 2xl is pocket-sized portable lithium ion battery powered data storage unit, featuring a 2.5 inch hard drive and a blue back-lit LCD status display. There's no need to lug a big and heavy laptop computer with you in order to empty your camera's memory cards in readiness for the next batch of photos - just copy them to your X's Drive.

Memory card slots catering for all the popular memory card types, including Memory Stick Pro, SD/MMC, xD, SmartMedia, CF and more, are provided. The device can be used both as a card reader for an attached PC and an external hard drive, connected via a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed cable.
