Toronto, Canada, 8th February 2005 - Spaark will be demonstrating the unique Printable Photo Album solution at PMA 2005 in Orlando, Florida (Feb 20th-23rd). This follows a successful UK launch during 2004. The Spaark Printable Photo Album provides digital camera users with a complete solution to create and print albums direct from digital photos using a personal computer and inkjet printer. Available in a range of styles and sizes the Printable Photo Album includes software to create the album together with pre-cut punched inkjet papers which clip into the album covers.
The increasing use of digital cameras has dramatically changed the way that consumers use, print and share their photographic images. Recent research has highlighted that over 70% of digital camera users print their photos at home and the Printable Photo Album range is aimed at this rapidly growing market. Over 5 billion images were printed in 2004 and this is set to continue to increase over the next few years. Consumer research indicates, however, that there remains a dissatisfaction with existing photo printing solutions. The Spaark solution has been developed as a response to the need for an easy, creative and convenient way to print, share and store digital photos. It also provides the ideal entry-level solution for digital scrapbookers with the software providing flexibility for 'digital' embellishment of the photos.
In addition, Spaark will present a printable photo album solution for professional digital photographers to prepare and print preview albums. Similar in concept to the consumer range the printable preview album system provides social and wedding photographers with a flexible and economical way to create and print high quality preview albums using their in-house inkjet printing facilities. The printable preview album range includes premium bonded leather album covers and inkjet papers in satin, gloss and double-sided finishes enabling professional photographers to provide a quality and stylish presentation to clients.
