Developed and manufactured by Colour Confidence, the kit offers professional photographers a way to verify their colour management workflow and validate their monitor calibration and printer profile. Priced at £39.95 (59.95 Euros) excluding VAT, it is available through the Colour Confidence website (www.colourconfidence.com) and via its growing network of resellers. The Check-Up Kit is one of a number of announcements that the company is making at Photokina (Stand F-011 in Hall 10.1).
The Kodak Professional Color Management Check-Up Kit represents a valuable addition to the colour management tools available to professional photographers and prosumers alike.

The Check-Up Kit consists of seven sample prints, created using a correctly calibrated and colour managed Kodak Digital Printer, a RHEM strip and a CD. The CD contains a wealth of information and tools including the newly released Colour Confidence Guidance for Digital Photography as well as a ProLab resource folder.
The Colour Confidence Guidance for Digital Photography is a detailed guide that allows users to familiarise themselves with the basics of colour management and is packed with essential information. Professionals and prosumers alike will benefit from the information about the fundamentals of colour management to setting up a colour managed workflow. The CD also contains a ProLab resources folder - generic colour profiles for a range photographic printers using Kodak Professional output materials. The Check-Up Kit allows users to evaluate the accuracy of their computer monitor, assess the suitability of the viewing conditions, check the precision of the prints and verify the accuracy of the printer profile and the workflow methodology.
