Lexmark Christmas printer deals

Lexmark has today announced it is offering Christmas bundle deals based in two of its ink-jet printers, the Z33 and the Z43. The bundles have interesting names; the Z33 Grab and Go and the Z43 Hexaprint.

Of most interest to digital photographers is the Z43 Hexaprint. The Z43 itself has true multi-density inks photo printing capability when used with a photo ink cartridge.

DPN’s own tests show the Z43 can produce good photo prints, but is relatively slow and expensive (click here) to run. However, its extremely low purchase price of £99 does go some way to answering these criticisms. The Hexaprint bundle includes a copy of the excellent Adobe PhotoShop Elements image editing package.

The £69 Z33 bundle comes with a Creative Photo kit Lexmarks claims is worth over £50.
