Crucial expands memory card range

Crucial Technology, the retail sister company of memory chips and modules manufacturer, Micron Technology, has increased its focus on the increasingly lucrative flash memory card market.

Best known for its competitively priced PC memory, Crucial has now expanded its line of memory cards, adding larger Compact Flash capacity choices and introducing Multimedia Card (MMC) to its range.

Crucial’s MMC offering goes to 64MB and its CF Type I reaches 256MB. Crucual is also offering a 512MB Type II card.

Prices of Crucial memory cards look a lot more competitive of late (under £39 +VAT for 128MB CF, for example) and DPN has decided to offer readers crucial memory cards once more via our affiliate relationship.
