veggiesosage is Andy Platt and has been featured on the DPNow Picture of the Day several times before. This time we've chosen a picture he took in Nottingham at the end of February. It's an eco-sculpture of a World War 1 tank by artist Sarah Turner. It's made entirely of recycled materials and looks its best when illuminated at night time. It's a striking sculpture that has been captured well by Andy's Fujifilm X20 camera. The tank was created for the local Light Night Nottingham initiative to celebrate the First World War centenary and was constructed with the assistance of children from Nottingham schools.
