Cameras Underwater announces the 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit for Panasonic Lumix GF1

30 August 2010: Cameras Underwater, the UK’s leading specialist in underwater photography, today announces the addition of the 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit for the ever-popular Panasonic Lumix GF1 to its extensive product offering.

The 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit equips the serious photographer with an underwater option for their Panasonic Lumix GF1. Ultra portable and easy to maneuver, the housing allows the user to operate the camera underwater at depths of up to 90 metres, with access to the full range of functions. Additionally, the 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit is fitted with the Nikonos 5 pin strobe bulkhead, to make attaching a flash a smooth process and expanding the user’s options further.

Ergonomically designed and made from aluminium, the 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit is the ultra portable option for serious enthusiasts or professionals when traveling to their next shoot. The kit is also supplied with a port for the 20mm lens and a 67mm threaded flat port that allows the addition and removal of the 67mm wide angle and macro lenses underwater. A standard ¼" tripod socket for tray is also included. An optional M77x100DZ dome port
can be fitted to enable wide angle photography with the 14-45mm and 7-14mm zoom lenses.

Jenny Rosenfeld of Cameras Underwater commented on this latest addition to the company’s huge product offering saying, “At a time when consumers are buying the new generation of non-SLR interchangeable lens cameras, we’re pleased we can offer the best option for the Panasonic Lumix GF1 at an affordable price.”

The 10-Bar Underwater Housing kit for Panasonic Lumix GF1 including standard port for 20mm lens retails from £699.99 inc. VAT. Alternative kit options and other optional accessories as also available:
