London, (April, 2004) – LaCie, a leading producer of display devices for the content development industry, announced that it has begun shipping its newest flat-panel LCD, the LaCie photon19vision. This cross-platform, professional-quality display was designed with the needs of graphic designers and digital content creation professionals in mind. Providing native resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 75Hz and state-of-the-art color accuracy, the photon19vision offers a small footprint, increased brightness of 250cd/m2, a greater contrast ratio of 400:1, and tilt and swivel adjustment for optimum viewing control.
Weighing only 20.1 lbs. (9.1kg) and measuring 511 x 526 x 332 mm, the photon19vision features a large 19-inch viewable area, ideal for professionals working with large-size layouts. Wide Viewing Angle technology allows users to see accurate color without image distortion from nearly any angle. With rotating capability for Windows operating systems, the photon19vision can be used in either landscape or portrait mode, enabling graphic designers to see an A4 or US letter-size document at 1:1 scale in either page layout.
The photon19vision is VESA 100 compliant, which means that the user can detach it from the base in order to accommodate various workstation environments. Compatible with VGA, DVI and ADC connectors, the photon19vision can be connected to any Mac or PC and features a power supply that is conveniently integrated inside the monitor. A four-port USB hub located on the side of the monitor allows for easy access and simple connection of multiple USB devices. The LaCie photon19vision can also be used with the LaCie blue eye vision for professional-quality color correction and software calibration.

Availability
The LaCie photon19vision is available now at suggested retail price £419 excluding VAT. It ships with a VGA to VGA signal cable, a DVI to DVI signal cable and pivot software for Windows operating systems, including Windows XP. Desk clamp sold separately for complete ergonomic comfort.
