The Ultra 63 tri-monopod builds on Sunpaks successful line of tri-monopods. The new Ultra 63 provides the same 2-in-1 feature of incorporating a monopod into the tripod. This important feature provides the perfect solution for photographers that need to have the flexibility of both a tripod and monopod but without the burden of carrying extra gear.
Starting with its newly designed all metal pan head it offers silky smooth pan and tilt functions perfect for photography and videos. With a quick release plate with video indexing pin, quick mounting and dismounting of a camera or camcorder is just a snap. The monopod center section includes a fast deployment 5 section leg assembly with twist and lock leg sections. The new waterfall chassis with all metal construction is sleek, sexy and built to take the rigors of professional use.
The Sunpak Ultra 63 tri-monopod also includes a great set of legs. The oversize leg sections have a 3-D cross section that offers superior strength while keeping the leg diameter as small as possible for weight reduction. The Ultra 63 tops off the three section legs with improved locking force flip lever leg locks with oversize levers to make them easy to use even with gloves for outdoors. The Ultra 63 extends to 63 as a tripod and to over 65 as a monopod. For added stability the Ultra 63 includes rubber feet, retractable leg spikes and leg braces with a fast acting twist and lock feature.
