Wacom’s Intuos4 Wireless makes its debut at Focus on Imaging

Wacom offers a full programme to visitors including product demos, sales promotions and competitions

Hall 10, Stand N9, Focus on Imaging 2010, NEC, Birmingham, 7-10 March 2010 - Wacom will be showcasing its range of pen tablets and interactive pen displays at Focus on Imaging. The Intuos4 Wireless will be on show for the first time since its recent launch, as well as the Cintiq 21UX, Cintiq 12WX and Intuos4. Aimed at professional photographers and imaging enthusiasts alike, all products will be presented for visitors to test and experience.

Focus on Imaging will be the first showing in the UK of the Intuos4 Wireless pen tablet. It combines the successful Intuos4 design including 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and intelligent industrial design, with Bluetooth wireless technology. Aimed at digital content creators such as photographers, designers and artists, the Intuos4 Wireless provides users with the flexibility and freedom to work in the most comfortable way for drawing, editing, painting and retouching.

Meet the Expert
Robin Preston, image maker, illustrator and Wacom’s senior evangelist will be on the stand demonstrating how to enhance and efficiently improve photo quality. He will be giving an insight into an electronic darkroom, showing the most useful image enhancement tricks to get professional results in the shortest time possible. In addition, there will also be ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet Preston and ask him specific questions.

Preston will also be using Wacom pen tablets to present a daily seminar called ‘Enhancing your Images’ in the HP Theatre.

Other activities also taking place on the Wacom stand include:
- Save the VAT – visitors who buy an Intuos4 or an Intuos4 Wireless at the show will save 17.5 percent
- A competition for a chance to win a Cintiq 12WX
- Apple Aperture presentation
- Meet the Expert question and answer sessions

Wacom’s Range
In addition to the Intuos4 Wireless and the rest of the Intuos4 range (small, medium, large and extra large), Wacom will also exhibit the Cintiq 21UX and the Cintiq 12WX. These interactive pen displays provide the perfect pen-paper alternative enabling users to draw, scribble, animate or navigate directly on the display with the cordless, pressure sensitive pen. The larger Cintiq 21UX has a screen size of 21.3 inches, while the portable Cintiq 12WX’s weight of just 2000g makes it a highly flexible and ergonomic product, ideal for use on the move.

Wacom’s products offer photographers a convenient way to optimise their digital images on the computer. From correcting exposure problems and removing unwanted objects to improving the colour of pictures or dramatically altering the style of a photograph, digital photographic work is effortless.
