HARMAN technology brings online services to life at Focus 2010

Imaging specialist places emphasis on its new web-based services at annual Focus on Imaging exhibition

HARMAN technology, the company behind renowned photography brands ILFORD PHOTO, Kentmere Photographic and HARMAN PHOTO is placing the spotlight on its pioneering online services at the Focus on Imaging Show 2010. Exhibiting at stand C2 at Birmingham’s NEC, the company will provide a live experience of its new online store HARMANexpress.com, providing visitors with exclusive show offers across a broad range of photographic products.

The hugely popular ILFORD LAB DIRECT photo printing service will also be showcased at the event, with its brand new ‘giant enlargement’ service being unveiled for the first time. The new service is capable of producing real silver gelatin black and white photographic prints up to 50 inches wide using an Oce Lightjet exposing system and visitors can order prints direct from the show floor to be delivered to their door.

Renowned photographer Dave Butcher will also be on hand at the HARMAN stand, displaying a collection of his black and white prints. The Peak District based photographer will launch his latest book, Lake Light, at the show and signed copies will be available on the HARMAN technology stand. Also on display will be the incredible winning entries from the 2009 Black and White Magazine photography competition, which was sponsored by ILFORD PHOTO.

The HARMAN PHOTO range of photographic inkjet papers will again take centre stage at the show, with example prints from the range’s gloss, gloss warmtone, matt and matt warmtone papers exhibited. The new HARMAN CRYSTALJET RC papers will make a second appearance after being unveiled for the first time at last year’s Focus exhibition and the inaugural HARMAN CRYSTALJET Student Competition winners will be presented publicly for the first time.

As always, HARMAN technology will have a wealth of technical expertise available to discuss the full spectrum of photography products on offer with visitors.

The Focus on Imaging 2010 exhibition is held at the Birmingham NEC from Sunday, March 7th to Wednesday, March 9th and HARMAN technology will be situated at stand C2.
