dpnow.com visitors have the chance to win one of nine copies of Roxio Creator 7, the integrated digital media suite, each worth £69.99. If you have a Windows PC and want to edit, rip, burn or manage any of your digital photos, videos or audio, this is the package for you.
Creator 7 is for Windows only. We don't want to leave Mac users out, so any Mac users drawn will get a copy of Roxio’s Toast Titanium 6 instead, each also worth £69.99.
Great news for our welcome international visitors, this month’s competition is open to everyone, regardless of their country of residence.

What is Roxio Creator 7?
Roxio Creator 7, which is just coming onto the market in the UK, is the next generation software from Roxio. In the box is a product with multiple features for editing and creating video, photos and audio, and burning them to CDs and DVDs; all with one harmonised user interface.
For photographers, specifically, Creator 7 is an ideal tool for managing, archiving and sharing photos and camera video clips on CD and DVD. Photography-specific applications included are:
• PhotoSuite 7 Platinum offering full-featured photo editing with the perfect mix of automated editing and hands-on creative controls
• Hundreds of professionally designed, customisable photo project templates
• PhotoStitch for creating dynamic panoramas
• Multi-photo enhance for editing a group of photos simultaneously

But I don’t have a CD or DVD burner
Maybe it’s time to get one. CD burner drives can now be bought for as little as £25. DVD burners are down to around £80. The recordable CD has become the new floppy disk, with media cost measured in the few pence per CD. Even recordable DVDs, capable of storing 4.7GB of data, or 3,000-5,000 4 megapixel JPEG photos, are now well under a pound each.
