The Olympus C-160 – a perfect start for digital photographers

Olympus introduces the entry level, 3.2 million pixel C-160 digital camera. The stylish camera is ideal for those keen to discover the world of digital photography, featuring a bright f2.8 lens (equivalent to a 38mm lens on a 35mm camera body) and delivering stunning results. Weighing just 154g, this compact model is perfect for everyday use. Available from the end of March 2004, RRP will be £119.99 (inc VAT). For stockist information visit www.olympus.co.uk.

The C-160 has been designed for ease of use without sacrificing photographic quality. The model offers built-in automatic exposure, focusing and ISO systems, white balance and an integrated flash.

Additionally, the camera boasts four scene programs enabling you to get to grips with any photographic situation. These include Landscape to capture sweeping mountain ranges and Night Scene to shoot after sundown. Plus, if you want to try your hand at filming, the C-160 features a short movie recording function with sound.
