DPNow friend and colleague, Gordon Laing, launches his new camera review site today

I've known Gordon Laing for many years and it's with great pleasure that I can bring the news that he has launched his own digital camera review site, Camera Labs.

Gordon is the former editor of one of the UK's top IT magazines, Personal Computer World and has been a freelance IT writer, like myself, for many years. He was, until recently, also the host of a weekly London radio IT talk show. In many ways, we have very similar interests; photography and computing, plus a fascination with Japanese culture - he's taken the plunge and is learning the language. Gordon was also responsible for the excellent Digital Retro book on personal computer stars from the past.

Camera Labs, says Gordon, will review cameras and lenses and will offer news and interaction through a blog-style front end. All here at DPNow certainly wish Camera Labs well!
