05 August 2003 - Eastman Kodak Company continues to make printing Kodak pictures at home truly one-button simple with the introduction of the Kodak EasyShare printer dock 4000. This dock, similar to the popular Kodak EasyShare printer dock 6000, produces durable, borderless 4 x 6-inch Kodak pictures in as little as 90 seconds directly from the EasyShare CX/DX 3000 and 4000-series digital cameras - with or without a computer.
The printer dock 4000 gives people the ultimate in home printing convenience and the immediacy of Kodak photos at home. It provides triplefunctionality:one-touch picture transfer to a connected computer, rapid camera battery recharging, and continuous tone thermal dye transfer printing. The application of an exclusive XtraLife laminate coating makes the photos durable and water resistant. The printer dock 4000 will be available beginning this month at a suggested retail price of £199.99.
The printer dock 4000 is a convenient printing option for users of the CX/DX 3000 and 4000 series of Kodak EasyShare cameras, including purchasers of thenew Kodak EasyShare DX4530 zoom digital camera. The result of Kodak'scontinuing efforts to provide people with traditional photographic qualityin the digital world, the printer dock 4000 produces pictures with vividcolour. The printer dock 4000 comes equipped with a sample photo paper and cartridge system that enables consumers to print 10 Kodak pictures. Because refill packs include colour cartridges and a matching quantity of photo paper, users don't have to worry about running out of supplies in the middle of a project. Combined refill colour cartridge and photo paper packs have a suggested retail price of £19.99 for 40 prints.
