Jessops has unveiled a new in-store digital photo printing service, the Digital Photo Centre.
The centres feature a collection of the Jessops photoexpress instant printing kiosks, and Digital Photo Makers, which offer a choice of one-hour or next-day services. They are designed to make it faster and easier than ever before for users to get high-quality prints from their digital images.

“Our self-service digital printing solutions have proved tremendously popular with digital camera and camera phone owners. By providing multiple kiosks together in the Digital Photo Centres, we are offering access to more users simultaneously, thereby catering for the ever growing demand for these services.”
Six centres have been installed in stores across the UK to date.
Five of the centres at the company’s stores - in Milton Keynes, Leamington Spa, London Moorgate, Bristol and Solihull - feature a total of seven terminals comprising one Jessops Photoexpress high-speed instant printing kiosk, and six Digital Photo Makers.
The sixth centre in Bournemouth offers five Digital Photo Makers.
The Jessops photoexpress instant printing kiosk is the fastest of its kind in Europe, offering prints from digital images in an average of 3.5 seconds each. It uses simple touch-screen technology to deliver photographic-quality, fade resistant and splashproof 6”x4” prints that are immediately dry to touch.
Payment is made at the machine, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Prints cost from 19p each, with a minimum order value of £1.
The Digital Photo Makers offer the same easy-to-use touch-screen technology, and produce high-quality prints at sizes from 6”x4” to 10”x15”, which customers can choose to collect from the store in one hour or the next day. Prices start from 10p per print when ordering 50 or more 6”x4” prints.
Both kiosks accept all popular forms of memory card and disc, and are Bluetooth compatible enabling camera phone owners to use the printing facility.
