LITEON IT Corporations latest and most flexible DVD drive sports a combination of advanced features and will write to almost any recordable media.
MEDIA: The SOHW-1693S capabilities include write speeds of 4x on both DVD+R and DVD-R (double layer) media as well as 16x on single layer DVD-RW and DVD+RW media. Rewriting speed is 8x for DVD+RW and 6x for DVD-RW. What’s more it also has the best CD writing performance of any DVD drive on the market writing to CD-RW media at a speedy 48X. The SOHW-1693S drive allows users to record up to four hours of high-quality MPEG-2 video or up to 8.5GB of data, music and/or images on compatible DVD+R DL media. Users can store more than 2,000 songs, which is the equivalent of 7 days of music, or four hours of high quality video on one Double Layer disc. A Double Layer disc can also hold up to 17,000 JPEG files or up to 17 hours of VHS quality video.
