Create, Copy and Burn Your Ultimate DVD Collection From A Digital Camcorder Or Camera

Amacom Technologies, innovators of portable digital storage technologies, has announced the launch of its faster 16x dual format and double layer DVD rewriter for creating, copying and writing DVDs and CDs.

The new burner is an external compact device supporting dual format, meaning that it supports all the industry DVD formats, plus supports double layer burning to enable users to burn twice the normal capacity of a DVD on to special DVD+R DL media - the equivalent of up to 8.5GB on one disk (4 hours of DVD quality video or 16 hours of VHS quality video).

The new DVD burner is available in two versions with unique DVD authoring and editing software from Pinnacle (Standard) and Roxio (Lite) so users will be able to edit audio and visual footage from a camcorder, produce music compilations and photo albums plus archive and create digital photography slide shows.

The Standard version is also supplied with 321 Studios’ unique DVD X Copy Xpress software, enabling users to create back-up copies of favourite blockbuster DVD movies. The newly created DVDs can then be played in both computers and home DVD players (according to compatibility of the individual player and media type used).

With no drivers required, the DVD+/-RW is a complete ‘plug and play’ solution for editing and back-up of all media types on the market.
