Hi-Touch Imaging is reinforcing their market presence as an exhibitor at the Daily Telegraph Adventure Sports and Travel Show, Olympia, London, January 15th-16th 2005. The mini-lab photo printers are ideal the market with their portable, lightweight and speedy digital photo printers.

HiTi will be demonstrating some of the regular faces within the range, such as the compact HiTi631PS, multisided format HiTi730PS, and the latest HiTi641PS with Hi-Touch’s own LinkPrint TM technology for peer-to-peer direct printing.

The main focus of the display will be the Transphotable printer, with the extra features designed for outdoor printing. The dye sublimation technology endorsed by HiTi requires precise printing conditions, and has adapting this version to accommodate extreme temperatures, movement and has inbuilt filters to ensure the highest quality of print should roadside or even mountainside printing be required. The Transphotable is capable of printing without a computer via Twin slots for Compact Flash and SmartMedia cards and a smart handheld LCD controller for quick editing and enhancing options, including; move, rotate, resize, brightness, contrast, copies.

The Transphotable prints 4”x 6” photos, pre-cut stickers in varying sizes, calendars, bookmarks, I.D. photos, business cards, and greetings card, ideal for occasions where one-the-day souvenirs are a big hit. The impressive specifications include printing quality of 300 x 300 dpi (equivalent to inkjet 4800 dpi), printing speeds of 130 seconds, and consistent printing costs of 34p per 4x6 inch photo.

The output is equally as impressive; with Magic Coating technology the finished prints are smudge proof, waterproof, tear proof and protected against UV radiation. The photos can be produced in a variety of finishes; level of gloss/matte or you can even add and create your own unique watermark.

All printers in the range come with PhotoDesiree, which allows users to enhance, modify and print their images via a PC or Mac.

Hi-Touch are packaging an offer specially for the show for the Transphotable which includes alongside the printer a smart black carry case specially designed for the 4”x 6” format printers in the range, a power inverter to allow printing from a vehicle, a pack of 50 Photo Images, and all this delivered with no delivery charge. This neat package is being sold at a steal for under £200, and saving of £150+.
