October's competition to win an exciting £448 worth of HP gear from dpnow is now closed
Hearty congratulations go to the lucky winner, Carole Cope, drawn from entries to October's prize draw. For November, you could win a
Samsung Digimax V50 worth £299.
For the third month running we are able to offer a camera and printer combo for our regular prize draw competition. This month, it's a five megapixel HP Photosmart R707 and a matching Photosmart P375 compact photo printer, complete with wireless printing support via Bluetooth. Together these great products are worth £448.
Adaptive lighting
The R707 is one of the most technically advanced compact digital cameras currently on the market. It uses HP's unique adaptive lighting technology to retain the full glory of the scenes you photograph that other cameras can't. Adaptive lighting can preserve detail in shadows and highlights without sacrificing each other.

Smart in-camera red-eye correction
The second ace in the R707's pack is in-camera red-eye correction . Like most cameras, the R707 can reduce the chance of red-eye effect through its anti-red-eye flash mode but just as with most compact cameras, red-eye can still occur. Unlike practically all the R707's rivals, it can automatically detected and correct red-eye after the picture has been taken.
Compact smartness
HP has worked hard to make its latest cameras more compact and trendy. The R707 is certainly compact and has a designer sculpted metal finish that is also comfortable and secure to hold thanks to a special material that coats the back of the camera.
Portable printing with wireless capability included
The second half of the HP duo we're giving away this month is the HP Photosmart 375 printer. This super-compact ink-jet photo printer can produce full colour 15x10cm (approx 6x4 inch) glossy prints or, with HP's optional No.100 grey cartridge, full tone black and white prints.
You can print to the Photosmart 375 directly from a PC, directly from a camera using a PictBridge cable link, directly from all the main camera memory cards currently in use, including xD and even from many mobile phones that support a Bluetooth printing function. A large, birght 2.5 inch full colour LCD monitor and status display that can be tilted for comfort is built in too.
Tipping the scales at just over a kilo, the Photosmart 375 is truly portable and can be battery operated using an optional rechargeable battery.
