Dane-Elec is, perhaps, better known for manufacturing memory cards for PCs, as well as SmartMedia and CompactFlash memory cards. But the latter demand card reader/writers too and Dane-Elec is only too happy to oblige.
Today the company has announced three new memory card read/writers addressing SmartMedia, CompactFlash and the up and coming MMD/SD (MultiMedia/Secure Digital) memory card platform. Only Sony’s Memory Stick, of all the most popular solid state memory formats, is absent from the line up.
The three new device belong to Dane Elec’s zMate range, are supplied with Windows 98/2000 and Mac OS 8.5 or higher compatible software drivers. All connect via USB.
Each model is priced £35 inc.VAT.
