09:30HRS - We’ve just heard from a DPN reader (click here) who is one of the many we believe have ordered the controversial Kodak DX3700 digital camera deal that Kodak has steadfastly refused to honour. Until now.

It appears Kodak has - at last - given in and decided to honour confirmed orders after all.

Without wishing to trumpet from our high horse, it has been DPN’s editorial opinion all along that, while Kodak may in the strictest technically legal sense had a defence against these customers, the overwhelmingly obvious PR route was to have saved face and bitten the bullet by graciously honouring their customers.

I’m sure even at this late stage, Kodak can count on some valuable PR capital by doing what they have done.

The story from the start: click here.

Are you one of those now, presumably, happy customers? Tell us what you feel about Kodak’s change of heart - click here.
