Canon has chosen the first day of the new year to unveil its impressive 2002 ink-jet printer and scanner line up.

We’ve been sitting on the information for over a month since the press preview of the new range, but today we can reveal all. Highlights include a USB2-compatible flat bed scanner, plus new, even faster, derivatives of the much-lauded S800 photo ink-jet printer, with versions offering prints direct from memory cards, plus borderless printing and a larger format A3+ model. All the new models will be available from February.
